Every once in awhile I like to look at these numbers in a slightly different way, by price range. Looking at sales and listings in a variety of ways assist you in understanding what is happening in the Real Estate market. Forbes names Buffalo one of the 25 strongest housing markets recently, yes there are still foreclosures but not like the rest of the country. In fact well priced homes are selling above asking price and with multiple offers. If you are a buyer and you see a home that you like and you know it is priced well and you want the home, you need to bring a good offer or risk the home selling to another savvy buyer. In this report, I used the ranges based on the listing price, all numbers regarding sales are based on the actual sold price of the homes for sale in the listing price point.
